Upcoming Events

Embraced to Encourage

May 8 | 6:30pm

Embraced is an evening designed to help you slow down and remember the truth that you are deeply loved and embraced by God while also connecting with other ladies. Through prayer stations, personal reflection, and meaningful opportunities to encourage others, you’ll spend intentional time in God’s presence while helping spread His encouragement. Join us on Friday, May 8 at 6:30pm for a peaceful, purpose-filled night of connection, prayer, and encouragement. We would love for you to bring a friend and a snack or appetizer to share.

Mom to Mom:

Hard is NOT the Same Thing as BAD

Mondays in June & July

Motherhood is full of joy, beauty, and purpose, but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, and hard. Mom to Mom is a space to gather with other moms, be encouraged, and remember that hard is not the same thing as bad.

These groups are guided by the book “Hard Is Not the Same Thing as Bad” by Abbie Halberstadt, offering honest conversation, biblical encouragement, and practical wisdom for moms in every season of motherhood. While the book speaks most directly to moms of younger kids, the groups are intended for moms of all ages. We highly encourage using both the book and the study guide to get the most out of it, but neither are required to participate.

We are meeting every Monday in June and July EXCEPT June 29 and July 20.

Women's Bible Study

Ladies, you’re invited to join us for a year of deep, meaningful study as we journey through the New Testament—slowly, intentionally, and together.

In this Bible study, we will discover the beauty of Scripture through a first-century lens, exploring each book and letter with a focus on Author’s Intended Meaning. As we read, we’ll trace the redemptive thread of God’s love and grace woven from Matthew to Revelation, and see how the New Testament fits into the grand narrative of the whole Bible.

Beginning Sunday, January 4, we will gather each week during the 9:45am service in Room 209. Our pace will be thoughtful and unhurried, giving space for real understanding, discussion, and transformation.

Please sign up online at wentzvillecc.org/women or on the connection card. We highly encourage you to purchase the corresponding study Bible we are using, but it is not required.

Come ready to learn, grow, and walk with other women who desire to know God’s Word deeply. We can’t wait to study with you!
