A Bold Future Campaign

Igniting Faith | Embracing Tomorrow

Bold Future Vision Meeting

July 31 | 6:30pm | Room 208

We want to invite you to a special opportunity to learn more about A Bold Future campaign, which we launched in the Fall. If you’re curious about where we’re headed as a church, why we’ve launched this campaign, and how we hope to make a lasting impact together, we’d love for you to attend one of our Bold Future Vision Meetings.

You’ll get a chance to:

  • Hear the vision and heart behind the campaign

  • Understand the process that led us to this point

  • See what we hope to accomplish

  • Get an update on where we currently stand

We’d love for everyone to be informed, inspired, and included in what God is doing through our church. Whether you’re brand new over the past six months and want to participate in helping our growth or have been with us for years and want to get more involved with this campaign, this is a great chance to take a closer look at the vision we’re pursuing together.

If you plan to attend, please just show up. No RSVP required!

The Dream

Build a new Worship Center while expanding our lobby, creating more space for our times of worship while allocating more space for our NextGen ministries (Kids & Students).

Complete an exterior renovation to update our WCC campus, creating a cohesive entry point for our congregation and our community.

Renovate and equip our existing space to continue to meet the ministry and programming needs of our NextGen.

Expand our office and classroom spaces to meet the needs of a growing staff and increase education space for both NextGen and Adults.

What can I do?

We will ask you to pray about making a financial commitment above your regular giving.

Three ways to respond to A Bold Future:

  1. Courageously – Make the largest one-time gift you have ever given to WCC on Commitment Sunday, November 10, 2024.
  2. Consistently – Give weekly or monthly for 25 months
  3. Creatively – Think of non-cash gifts: real estate, boats, cars, stocks, bonds, etc.

For information about online giving, visit our give page.

Prayer Requests:

  • Prayer for those leading the campaign
  • Prayer for God’s direction in decision making
  • Pray that every WCC family would boldly seek Jesus through this effort
  • Pray for the people who will be reached in our new spaces
  • Pray that our church will seek God together
  • Pray for our ministry partners as we work together to make a BOLD Kingdom Impact

When I went to church as a kid, one of the songs we sang was “He’s got the Whole World in His Hands.” God has everything in His hands – the world, the little bitty baby, you and me, brother and sister – all in God’s hands. One line I don’t ever remember singing, but it is as truthful as any, is that God has our future in His hands. God is absolutely in control of our future and I believe His desire is to see Wentzville Christian Church continue to boldly reach and disciple this community for Jesus Christ. Our desire is to continue to ignite a passion for Jesus, the Bible, the Church, and Others and if we do… God’s church will continue to grow!

Over the last several years, WCC has continued to reach our community and beyond. We are thrilled that many families and individuals joined with us to ignite these passions! We see

A Bold Future in front of us, not because we’re so great, but because God is! The growth of our church is His blessing for our faithfulness as a church body to plant and water the seeds.

Nehemiah 2:18 ESV

And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.

God is the one who is making our church grow. It is His Spirit at work in the lives of those who are confessing faith in Christ and being baptized, His Spirit is at work changing lives! God has invited us to be co-workers in this service and mission creating A Bold Future!

Our church, WCC, will be seeking to expand our campus and make more room to reach our community both now and in the future. We have all seen the growth of our church and we know that God has a bold future planned for us as we continue to become the church this community desperately needs. It will take all of us! It will take sacrifice! Jesus is the Hope of this world and our congregation as well as this community are in His hands!

A Bold Future Together,

Keith Comp
