Children’s Ministry [birth-5th grade]

We believe parents play the primary role in developing a child’s faith and it is our desire to partner WITH you. We want to inspire, equip, and support you with resources that help connect what happens at home with what is happening at church. The heart of wentzvilleKidz is to provide a dynamic environment where children can encounter God — launching them into an authentic relationship with Jesus that stirs their hearts to make Him known to others! Parent Playdate

Saturday, May 1 | 9:30-11am
Early Childhood Parents, join us in the early childhood area for our next Parent Playdate on Saturday, May 1st from 9:30-11:00am. Meet other parents who are in the same phase of life that you are in while your kids form relationships with other kids through play. We will sing songs, create crafts, and play. It’s such a great way to get to know other parents, form relationships, and help our children learn about Jesus in a fun, inviting atmosphere.

Family Dedication

Sunday, May 2
Family Dedication is a celebration of parents and families publicly committing to raising their child(ren) and family to love and honor God. Wentzville Christian Church believes that children are God’s special gift to each of us. It is our goal to help you as parents to lead your children into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Family Dedication is a public commitment you make before God, our Church, and your family to love and follow Christ.

5th Grade Meet & Greet

Sunday, April 25 | After 3rd Service
All 5th grade student’s and their families are invited to lunch on April 25th following the third service in the student room. While having lunch, families will get to meet the WSM team, as well as hear about the great opportunities that we offer our middle and high school students at Wentzville Christian Church. The meal will consist of meat from Sugarfire, potato salad, baked beans, and chips.
The WHOLE family is invited, we just ask that you let us know the number of people coming.
We realize that Sunday afternoons can be busy for families, so we hope to have all information wrapped up by 1:15 so that you can still enjoy your afternoon plans!

Virtual Elementary Lessons

Our NextGen Elementary team is diligently working to bring the normal Sunday morning experience online so those who can’t join us in-person can enjoy doing lessons while at home. Weekly lessons and announcements are emailed to parents and are also available below. Beginner Bible Bowl: 3rd-5th grade

Beginner Bible Bowl meets on Wednesdays at 5:30pm for 3rd-5th graders. This is a competition based Bible quiz game where students study a specific portion of Scripture and then compete against other teams in a quick recall setting. This program is great way to get kids into the Bible, have fun while learning it, and grow in their faith through study and competition. Kids can join the weekly practices any time. Contact Randy Diebel for more information.
There is also a Bible Bowl program for 6th-12th grade students.

Imagine having your senses bombarded through large spaces and large crowds; strangers entering into your personal space demanding eye contact and interaction; bright lighting/loud sounds/and tons of things providing stimulation that overload your system. We have some VIP friends that struggle with this weekly and they need extra help.
WentzvilleKidz offers a VIP program for children who need extra help being in a classroom situation on Sunday mornings. We have awesome volunteers who can be a 1-on-1 with you child if that is something your family would need. We try to schedule the same VIP for each child, so arrangements will need to be made beforehand. Contact Connor Davidson, Elementary Minister, for more information.
WentzvilleKidz also offers a sensory room if your child is in need of a little down time. The sensory room is available for a 1-on-1 to take a child to each morning, or it can be staffed upon request if a child needs to spend the entire morning in there.
