Next Shift Sunday: Preschool Sings – March 3, 2023
Shift Sundays are specific Sundays where we anticipate a larger than average attendance and want to make room for our guests. On these Sundays, we see a greater need for parking, seats in the auditorium, and more volunteers! A few weeks prior to a “Shift Sunday,” we will begin to encourage our congregation to make some shifts in their usual participation on that Sunday.

Shifts to make:
  • FOR PRESCHOOL SINGS: We are inviting our preschool families to join us Sunday, March 3 for our annual, Preschool Sings. Preschool sings is an opportunity for our Early Childhood and Preschool kiddos to join together to lead the congregation in worship! Our busiest services are our 9:45 and 11:00am service. If your family brings multiple cars, shift how you get to church by driving one less vehicle to free up parking spots that Sunday. Another good parking practice on any Sunday is to park on the outskirts of the parking lot so visitors and others can have a closer spot.
  • If you aren’t volunteering, shift how you serve by getting plugged in to a ministry area. It would be ideal if you came to either the 8:30am or 11am service and served during the 9:45am service. To make this shift and volunteer, sign up here.
  • If you haven’t already, shift your mindset to pray about who you need to invite to church on this Sunday. You know at least one person who needs to experience the hope of Christ and be encouraged by being with others as we worship together.
  • A good idea would be to shift your plan to arrive earlier than usual. Coming early allows you more time to get a coffee, check in kids, chat with others, meet someone new, and find a seat in the worship center. (You could even shift where you sit and move closer to the front or center of the row to make room for others.)

I love what God is doing in HIS church! Thank you for grabbing hold of the vision and igniting a passion for Jesus, the Bible, the Church, and Others!

Blessings,
